Introducing our best designer for the month of December.
At DotYeti, we’ve helped hundreds of small businesses and startups launch their visual identity. And at the forefront of these creative projects are teams of designers who work to really grasp each brand’s core message and values.
One of those designers is Reymart F., who is December’s Best Designer! He’s a graphic design specialist who has been with Dotyeti for over a year. Here, he works on logo and branding projects as well as static design projects.
Get to know this talented designer below.
Early love for art
Like most of our featured designers, Rey cultivated a love for design at a young age. This artistic curiosity naturally led him to join art competitions at school whenever he could.
In one of his most memorable competitions, he was asked to reimagine Bartok, a character from Disney’s Anastasia. He ended up winning the contest, citing that this was his “first-ever achievement in life in terms of visual arts”.
He started fine-tuning his skills in sketching, and then doodling, before tackling multimedia arts.
Carving his own path
Although his family wanted his artistic interest to lead him to architecture, Rey opted to take a Fine Arts course to explore his talent
Before he joined DotYeti, he was freelancing as a graphic designer. Apart from that, he also had prior experience working for an ad agency that focused on the food and beverage industry.
Keep the spark burning
When the creative spark loses its flame (and for many full-time creatives, we all know this too well), Rey turns to video games and movies to recharge.
Words to live by
If there’s one thing you can take away from this, it’s that Rey F. takes his passion for art seriously. He’s always on the lookout for ways to improve his craft and challenge himself.
In fact, his artistic drive motivates him to be better and design more creatively every day. For Rey, that means taking his logo and branding skills to greater heights. In the future, he wants to pursue other crafts like video editing and animation and explore more innovative forms of branding.
